As part of our broader mission at Mayambala Home of Hope Uganda, we are proud to support the Alpha & Omega School Initiative — a grassroots effort to provide education to children in underserved communities.
This school was created to address a critical gap: many children in the area had no nearby access to formal education.
About the School
Alpha & Omega School is a newly established primary school currently serving:
110 students
5 classes (following the national curriculum)
* 5 dedicated teachers
Despite very limited resources, the school is actively providing daily education and structure for children who would otherwise go without.
Our Challenges
The school is operating under extremely difficult conditions:
No reliable access to clean water
Lack of textbooks and learning materials
Limited food support for students
Basic and insufficient classroom infrastructure
Operating in rented and temporary space
These challenges directly impact the quality of education and the well-being of the children.
Why This Initiative Matter
Education is one of the most powerful tools for breaking the cycle of poverty.
Through the Alpha & Omega School Initiative, we aim to:
Provide consistent access to education
Improve learning conditions and resources
Support teachers and classroom development
Create a stable and safe learning environment
Our Approach
We are working closely with the school’s founder and teachers to:
Assess urgent and long-term needs
Provide essential resources (books, supplies, equipment)
Improve infrastructure and learning conditions
Build sustainable support through partnerships and fundraising
